Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
1. Overview
downloadxAI is built to be privacy-first. This policy explains what little data we handle, why, and the choices you have.
2. Data we collect
We do not collect personal data beyond the video URL you paste into the link checker. Specifically:
- No names, emails, or contact details are required to use the Service.
- No accounts, passwords, or profiles exist or will be created.
- No tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or cross-site profiling.
When the downloader launches, the video URL you submit is used solely to fetch the requested video and is not stored or logged with any identifying information.
3. Cookies
We use cookies strictly to remember two things: your age-gate confirmation and your cookie-consent preference. That is the entire list. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not share any data with third parties.
4. Analytics
We do not run analytics scripts today. If we add privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics in the future, this page will be updated first and you will be asked for consent before anything loads.
5. Third-party services
This site is hosted on Vercel, which may process standard technical logs (IP address, user agent) for security and delivery purposes. Those logs are not linked to any personal profile.
6. Data retention
Local preferences (age gate, cookie choice) are stored in your own browser and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings. We hold no server-side database of users.
7. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is typically nothing to access, correct, or delete on our side. For any privacy question or request, contact support@videodownloaderai.com and we will respond promptly.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revision date above will be updated. Any change that expands data collection will require your renewed consent.
downloadxAI is not affiliated with ThisVid. We do not host, store, or distribute any videos. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. Users are responsible for complying with their local laws and the source platform's terms.
